Lee Getty is a Canadian screenwriter and producer. She is the co-founder of Unframed Productions, dedicated to championing diverse talent in front of and behind the screen. She is a founding member of the Women, Trans & Non-Binary Film Network Berlin, a community of over 8K members. Lee co-wrote the award-winning historical Instagram series Ich Bin Sophie Scholl, co-produced with VICE Germany, which has garnered over 10 million views. She also co-wrote the feature documentary Patrice: The Movie, available on Disney+ and Hulu, and is the co-creator and co-writer of drama-comedy series We Might Regret This for BBC TWO. Her work has been featured in publications such as The Guardian, British Vogue, The Observer, The Stylist, and The Times and recently she was awarded BAFTA Breakthrough 2024.
